This Privacy Policy describes, in general terms, how FMS handles information collected through the platform. It is provided for informational purposes and does not constitute legal advice.
Information We Collect
FMS collects the information necessary to operate a private furniture management platform for hospital facilities teams. This includes account information provided during onboarding (name, work email, role, and hospital or facility affiliation), furniture and inventory data entered by your organization (item category, condition, location, and status), and request records generated as your team submits and tracks relocation, repair, or decommissioning requests.
We also collect limited technical information automatically, such as login timestamps and general usage patterns within the platform, to help us maintain performance and troubleshoot issues. FMS does not collect or process protected health information (PHI) or any clinical patient data — the platform manages furniture and facilities logistics only.
How We Use It
Information collected through FMS is used to operate the platform: authenticating your account, maintaining your organization's inventory and request records, routing requests to the appropriate reviewer, and providing status visibility to your team. We may also use aggregated, de-identified usage data to understand how facilities teams use the platform and to guide product improvements.
We do not sell furniture, inventory, or account data to third parties, and we do not use your organization's data to market to other organizations.
Data Retention
Account and inventory data is retained for as long as your organization maintains an active FMS account, and for a reasonable period afterward to support account recovery and any applicable recordkeeping obligations your organization may have. Your organization may request deletion of specific records or full account data at any time by contacting us, subject to any retention requirements tied to open or recently completed requests.
Your Rights
Depending on your organization's location and applicable law, you or your organization may have rights to access, correct, export, or request deletion of the personal information FMS holds about you. Requests should be directed to your organization's FMS account administrator in the first instance, or to us directly using the contact information below, and we will respond within a reasonable timeframe.
